Jamulus consists of servers and clients.
In the diagram at the right, in the center we see a server out in the internet cloud. This server provides a "room" where people can enter, and play together.
Connected to this server, like spokes in a wheel, we see multiple musicians. These clients. These people use the Jamulus client software to connect to the Server.
right now, out on the internest, there are over 200 Jamulus server "rooms." KalamaJam hosts several of these.

What is KalamaJam?

KalamaJam History: KalamaJam is a volunteer organization of musicians based mostly in Michigan. We have been around since March of the first year of the Covid Quarantine. Since that time, KalamaJam has evolved and changed in response to changing societal conditions and Jamulus usage patterns. During that time we ran several jams: Eclectic Jam, Americana Jam, Blues Jam, and Americana Jam.

KalamaJazz: For over a year, KalamaJam has been running KalamaJazz, a jazz jam that meets every Monday at 7:00 EST, at [Genre Jazz} [tkap-jam-net] (Chicago)

KalamaHorn: But now, due to the interest of a number of people, KalamaJam is going to try developing most ambitious idea yet -- KalamaHorn -- a place where people who like music with horn parts can get together and play.
